>5.0) I wanna eat like a hoffamite. I just wish that I could bankroll
>it. The planet Hoffman is the heaviest gravity world inhabited by humanoid life. It was settled by a combination of serious genetic engineering and the natural fertility of the soil; Hoffman is, put bluntly, a farm world. Hoffman produces a *LOT* of food, though, including some true galactic delicacies... they also turn out some dandy high explosives as well... and that helps fund their rather extraordinary appetites.
> 5.1) Can we hire Mac to make the coffee for us here at work?
He's kind of underage. This year, he'd be minus three hundred eighty seven years old. }:-{D
> 5.2) You are an evil, evil man. Making people listen to a
>proselytizing Narn. Bad Gryph, Bad.
Poetic justice. }:-{D
> 5.3) Have I mentioned that I like Mac?
Thank you very much! Hopefully you'll -really- get to like Mac in the next full movement...
> 5.3.1) Is Mac really gonna be Moose's AoN understudy, or even
>learn to play the bass?
Almost certainly not to the first question, although Mac will hold Moose to a few gratis lessons.
And Mac, having committed, will learn. Mac is a very determined and focused personality (which helps when you have a roommate like G'Kron). Once he decides to learn something, he buckles down and works until he has it cold. That's why you see him most of the time studying; he has a goal in mind and will not be distracted from it.
>6.0) Bowling?* Kate and Juri like to Bowl? What could they
>possibly like about the most boring sport in the world? (Well, short
>of shuffle-puck that is)
Boring to watch, not so boring to play.
I used to bowl, but I quit when I realized that most of the people who bowled with me were either collecting Social Security or waiting for their taping date for Jerry Springer.
I do, however, play golf now and again, and that -is- a boring sport to watch.
> 6.1) And they spent money on shoes and their own balls and
>such? But, but, why? For the love of God, why?
Because, if you like the sport, you will not play using clown shoes and neon green balls. }:-{D
>7.0)"Do you think I will dream?" she asked.

Or cousin to a HAL unit.
>15.0)So, what does Devlin do on holiday? What's his deal?
>Will we find out in later stories, or does he just wind up being the

> 15.1) Yeah, Yeah, I know:"That'd be telling"
Be seeing you, Number Six.
