That is most definitely NOT polyamory - that's just group sex.

Say something like that in some circles and you'd be lucky to make it out alive. It REALLY pisses off a lot of polyamorous people when other people treat it like it is just sex, or that just having sex with multiple people makes you poly.

Since I'm not that deep into it I only find it annoying that people have such a drastic misconception of the situation.

Having a menage doesn't make you poly.
