BTW: what (if any) is the comnnection between the Earth Alliance and the Federation (as mentioned in UF4)? Is the EA a member of the Federation? Did the Federation fall apart (it was pretty damn ineffectual as a result of GENOM's military expansions as I recall) and get replaced?
