Not sure how much people here are following the stuff going down in the twin cities, but it's been a week here.

Where I live is south and east of Minneapolis proper and so far the only stuff to happen has been a couple of bricks thrown through the County service center building.

I've been lucky, and some of my friends and loved ones have been less so. Thankfully I can give a couple of them a safe place to stay for the weekend, at least.

Good thoughts in this direction are welcomed, and keep your sprocking heads down.

Still doing good here in San Antonio. Fortunately, the cops here are all pretty decent folks - it's very rare to hear anything about abuse of police powers, and when it does happen, it's usually at the higher levels.

That said, people over here are just shaking their heads.

Columbus, OH is a mess, and I have friends who have been tear gassed and pepper sprayed and shot with rubber bullets, but I myself am fine. Downtown is under curfew and the roads in and out are shut down. Scary time here in the state capital.

I have to admit it's kinda fucked up that my former home and my current home are both burning.
