Five-year veterans of Transbelvian automobile construction believe that given a bench vise, a bench to mount it on, a hammer, and a bastard file, they could build a Belv in a cave, with a box of scraps.

Ten-year veterans are confident that they could make their own cave with the tools provided, use the quarried stone to build a bench, haul the box of scraps inside, and build a Belv.

Twenty-year veterans insist that a hammer and a bastard file are all one needs to build a Belv, assuming that one is not under any pressure to produce a Belv this decade.
