[Just fixing a link. --G.]

So was anyone going to tell me there's a cover band out there who perform on stage in full Transformers cosplay, or was I supposed to just find that on the internet myself?

Seriously, though, these folks are Our Kind of Weird. :)

(I also highly recommend this one to anyone of a certain age who grew up with access to CBC saturday morning cartoons...)

Wait, you didn't know about the Cybertronic Spree??

They, along with Ninja Sex Party and TWRP (TupperWare Remix Party) are three of my favorite 'nerd' bands~

See also Ken Ashcorp, though he's a solo act~

Until late last year, no! I ran across them thanks to a Canadian friend who wanted me to see their Run With Us cover. :)

Wagakki Band is amazing.

Are they traditional Japanese? Yes.
Are they amazing hard rock? Yes.

Are these contradictions in terms? Not for this band.

Yep. There are very few bands for whom I would willingly lay out cash for a dvd of their music videos. This is the top of that list.

You need to fix your signature.

If you mean the broken image link...image that's been there for as long as I can remember. At this point I'm pretty sure it's on purpose, because broken image links don't look like that anymore.

No, it's legit. If you right-click and open it in a new tab, it goes to an ImageShack 404 page.

Wait, really? WOW. ....Still, it's been like that as long as I remember. *many* years. I don't recall ever seeing it not that broken image icon.

And then of course the old RCW tag. I'm pretty sure most of the newer (by newer I mean within the last 10 years or so!) people around here prolly don't even know what that means šŸ˜Ž

It used to be a little cartoon of a weasel dressed as one of the cardinals from Monty Python's "Spanish Inquisition" sketch, to go along with the text reference to same.

Wow. RCW. That brings me back.

Puts me in the mood to go back and read some SotS, it does.
