So I was rereading some Golden Age stuff in prep for Blackout while YT randomly trawled through my playlists in the background, and one of my subscriptions came up. First To Eleven is a cover band (Concrete Castles is the name they use for original music), and ... look, just about everything about the band punches my buttons. Song choice, their synergy, their energy, you name it.

Anyway!

One of their covers is Carry On My Wayward Son. I happen to like it quite a lot! And it registered on my ears right as I was reaching a part where the scene marker says "WEDGE DEFENSE FORCE SUPER DIMENSIONAL FORTRESS WAYWARD SON (SDF-17)", which struck me as a fun coincidence and reminded me that I wasn't sure if I'd shared First To Eleven over here.

So, uh. Have a rambling post about a cool cover band. :D And a link! https://youtu.be/iy76QRhYY8k

They do some good covers I've playlisted a few of theirs in the past.

And speaking of covers, if anyone's come across Dan Vasc's rendition of Amazing Grace, that one of his better ones.

Unpopular opinion regarding F211, but I'll just say it: F211/Concrete Castles frontwoman Audra Miller Breaks Benjamin better than Ben Burnley.
