#0, Slice of Life, I think they call it?

Ok, so, to start with, I'm old these days, which might explain things...anyway.My computer, and life, hates me, I'm fairly sure. Last night, I went to bed in the early evening, to read, leaving the computer on. Well, as you might expect, from an old guy, I fell asleep....has happened before, usually not a problem, I wake at some random late hour, realize the thing is on and clamber out to turn it off, then clamber back in and go back to sleep. This time, not so much. At about quarter to one, the computer went into power-saving mode on the screen. Which is fine, right? Right. Except that I'd left the browser on, on a paused video. This, apparently, caused the power-save to react, don't ask me how or why, by resetting said video to the beginning and hitting play at the DEVASTATINGLY loud fucking intro! BLAAAAARGGH HEAVY METAL GUITAR! went the noise, scaring the absolute fuck out of me, and probably terrifying the neighbors upstairs as well. Cue me levitating out of bed in a manner not at all agreeable with my back OR my heart, trying to shut everything down, swearing and cursing, and the fucking browser refusing to react for about 10 seconds. "OFF, YOU BASTARD! OFF! FUCKS SAKE STOP MAKING NOISE!" Finally, it got the hint and shut the browser, leaving blissful silence and a massive adrenaline overdose. Shut the damn thing off completely, and returned to bed, there to not be able to go back to sleep for about an hour, as everything was pinching and twinging.
