Max is spunky pink-haired African-American sidekick to Terry. Were there a Neon Genesis Batman Beyond, she'd be your Asuka. Bruce tolerates her rather grudgingly; Terry involves her in his exploits quite a bit.

This is in contrast to Dana, Terry's willowy dark-haired girlfriend, whom he treats like crap and frequently stands up on dates. ;)
