Heh. I also remember the same friend getting 'Mechwarrior2' and the Ghost Bear expansion pack for his pc, and the two of us giggling like idiots while building a 100 ton Behemoth with as many flamers as we could pack into the thing. Then, of course, we set them up to group fire all at once and went up against, I dunno, a Firemoth or something stupid like that.

We fired once, the Firemoth immediatly just blew up, we shut down and promptly exploded ourselves from overheating.

The pc game never quite had the same tactical flair the board game did, but it was a fun carnage tool.
