Never played console back then, except at the rare friends house. But for old games, I'd pick X-wing. Maybe now I could get past that one hell mission with the ton of stormtrooper transports to scan, while Neb-Bs drop TIEs around the edge of the system, and me in a Y-wing. Or X-wing Alliance if you could somehow jury-rig multiplayer using modern internet. That was fun.

Me and a buddy always got a kick out of playing some Armada. Although one of the original developers (I think) has been working on/rebuilding a newer PC multiplayer version of it, Armada Online.

Shit.FYI, Crazy Taxi for Android is one of the "pay more than the average" games in the most recent Humble Mobile Bundle (https://www.humblebundle.com/mobile), along with a bunch of other Sonic and SEGA games. At the moment, the whole thing can be yours for the low, low price of just $3.75 (though that will probably change by the time you look, since you have to beat the running average).
