#0, Wait, What? dep't

Drove my sainted mother to the craft store today. While I was waiting around for her to pick out some stuff, I was idly looking at the racks with the bolts of fabric in them. They were labeled with various cutesy slogans, some of which ("princely prints") had some bearing on what was in the particular rack, while others ("make it swoonworthy") were just randomly precious. And then there was this one.
What the fuck? I mean what the actual fuck? There are basically two possibilities: someone slapped that on there without thinking it through, or someone very much thought it through before putting it on there. I find both of them disturbing. --G. -><- Benjamin D. That whooshing sound you hear is this flying over my head. I mean, it's weird, but I don't find it disturbing.

HINT: It might have been better if they'd gone with "the vinyl countdown". --G. kids these days -><- Benjamin D. If they'd gone with 'countdown' I'd be compelled to look up the manufacturer - and would, I suppose, inevitably find out that they're out of Europe.

I, yeah....I THINK that actually thinking that through is more disturbing, but the amount is...well, ∞ vs ∞+1 as it were......! Stoke Mandeville, Esq & The Victorian Ballsmiths "Nobody Want Verdigris-Covered Balls!"

I guess we should feel fortunate they didn't spell out that it's the vinyl solution to the upholstery question. I'd say I'm surprised that there hasn't been a major flap about this, if that signage is to be found in every store in that fairly mainstream chain, but... then again, it's 2018. So I'm not. :/ --G. wtf -><- Benjamin D. I (politely) emailed the fabric store chain about this, and their response, paraphrased somewhat, was essentially "oh for—we told the stores to take those signs down last year, which one did you see it in? aaargh"So at least someone had already given it some (belated) thought... --G. -><- Benjamin D. Oh, that's good news then. Glad to hear that they're paying attention at least in part.
