Today is the 50th anniversary of the wreck of the Great Lakes freighter Edmund Fitzgerald, so here is an amazing cover of the late Gordon Lightfoot's 1976 hit song about same.--G. -><- Benjamin D. Wow. It's not often a performance will both leave me speechless and bring a tear to my eye, but that did. As someone on the youtube comments said, I never expected to find a worthy cover of that song, but this definitely was one. There's also this one if you're in a more choral mood. It doesn't have the raw impact of the Puncb Bros cover, in my opinion, but there are some fine harmonies and a couple of strong visuals.--G. -><- Benjamin D.
