LAST EDITED ON Dec-26-06 AT 01:04 PM (EST) Hello, Eyrie. I'm Bad Enlgish. You can call me Bad Enlgish or any manner of abbreviation thereof. I'm a Fireman (E-3) in the US Navy at Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in Charleston, SC. My first encounter with Eyrie was sometime a hell of a long time ago when I was in junior high school. A friend had just introduced me to Evangelion, which at the time to me was just a pretty cool mecha anime, because I was far too young to understand what was really going on (thank God). So I spent a little bit of time Googling NGE for whatever reason and stumbled upon NXE. I read about two of the episodes, and then got distracted for whatever reason and never went back. Some years later, said friend was moving and gave me his Eva DVDs. They collected dust for a good long while until the summer between my junior and senior years of high school. I discovered the DVDs and watched them. "Well, that was wild. Hey, I remember reading a story with like Lara Croft's son or something." And thus, I returned to NXE, and read it all this time. It was really damn good, so I started reading UF when I had time after the school year started. I got to the end of the first symphony in Symphony of the Sword when I joined the Navy. During the three months I was at boot camp and nuke school without a computer, I've pretty much forgotten everything I'd read, so it looks like I'll have to start from the beginning, but I'm not complaining. It's a damn good read. Anyways, long story short, thanks for the quality fiction Eyrie. It should keep me entertained for a good long while.

I got it... I responded with the whole mock seriousness thing. It works better with stupid facial exressions.

Hey there Bad Enlgish! Welcome to the nut house. ^_^ I'm a DEP recruit myself who's going in as a Gunner's Mate, but I hope to transfer into Nuke myself later on down the line (they wouldn't let me have it right off the bat because I'm a non-highschool graduate, even though I scored more than well enough on the ASVAB).
