Wow, I'd forgotten all about Klingon Academy. I used to have that (and its predecessor, Starfleet Academy), but damned if I could lay my hands on it now.

Anyway, yeah, my mental picture of the Saracen class is similar to this, though it lacks the torpedo-room "box" (the torpedo tubes are in the main hull, as in the original TV Enterprise) and the warp engines aren't staggered like that - they're both raked pretty sharply aft on narrow pylons, like the dorsal one in the pic accompanying that article.
