Funny that Gryph should work on re-doing this. I just spent the past 18 days (trying to read slowly to savor the work) re-reading all of SOS. Just the source material, not the annotations, though -- I'm waiting for the day that I can afford a dual-screen set-up so that I can have annotations right next to the source text.

UF/FI (especially SOS) gets more re-reads than the paperback fantasy/sci-fi novels that I own... wow.
