I think S5 feels like it's heading towards the climax of the series, which presumably involves someone shoving a sword through Akio's throat. Now that Annabelle's been born, I think you could absolutely throw in a couple of pieces leading up to a final movement in which evil is vanquished, etc etc.

Then again, I have very little idea as to what your actual plans are, so this is probably useless advice.
