I initially read more into the Corwin/Korra interactions than Gryphon wrote. I wasn't squicked at the difference in experience, but faintly disturbed at the extreme speed with which the relationship seemed to be changing. Then I remembered that Gryph &co. are better writers than that, reread it to get what they actually meant, and firmly told my brain to stay out of the Shal-Mari sewers.
