My god.

I've very nearly finished reading- don't have time to do the whole shebang in one sitting, but just.... god, I love it the most when this kind of thing happens.

When Corwin gets to do the whole god thing and yet never quite gets it right, bumbling into the most spectacular situations imaginable by dint of... well, never quite getting ANYTHING exactly right.

Add in the perfect music (is there a part of eyrie stories I love more than the soundtracking?) and this is like... the perfect birthday present.

And DesDevSix is here, which automatically means it's perfect. Long live DesDevSix, nanodesu.

Hee hee, does this make Iona and Shioi twin sisters? I do have to admit, I'm still not entire sure how all of this works- at first, I thought that the girls were simultaneously ghosts of their old selves given structure by the Fog technology, but I'm still not entirely sure where the Arpeggio ends and the Kancolle begins.

I'll finish up the epic battle when I'm back from RL. Going to the pool myself, ironically.
