While reading this, I couldn't help but notice the various "like father, like son" moments Corwin was having, even if he wasn't aware of them*, or the fact that his moments were more impressive than his father's (based on the number of women sharing his bed at the end).Good description of the battle, BTW. I had a pretty good idea of what was going on where, despite the fact that everything I know about naval combat I learned playing Advance Wars and its sequels. I can't help but feel that gave me an incomplete picture at best. ;)
* Which I assume he wasn't, given the situation, and the fact that it's Corwin we're talking about here.
