As it happens, he almost certainly wasn't aware of that one, since it took everything he had left on board to supervise squaring the fleet away after the jump to Zipang, then give directions to the nearest open-sea Veil nexus and thence that island. He probably fell asleep on the bridge. At which point Iona took it upon herself to put him properly to bed; Shioi went along To Help Out; Destroyer Division 6 declared themselves his Security Detail; Tenryū, well, Tenryū isn't sure exactly why she tagged along; and Tatsuta's newly-minted Mental Model couldn't think of anything else to do other than follow Tenryū.

(Kaga probably would've pulled rank and replaced at least one of them, but, dignity of the First Carrier Division and all that. One expects she could certainly use a nap after all that.)

Corwin will be doubly bemused when he wakes up; once to discover that he has an entourage, and then again to realize that Utena's sitting over in that chair Iona was in earlier, regarding the scene and his reaction to it with evident amusement.
