There are a few Soviet ships (and a number of German ships that are outright named after men) in Kancolle; all are women—although the fact that the German destroyers Z1 Leberecht Maaß and Z3 Max Schultz sometimes get mistaken for crossdressing boys is a running gag in fan works. It appears not to be an exact science. :)
