I'm not going to lie, I didn't expect this plotline to be picked up again and I've rarely been so happy to be completely wrong. The LoK and K-on stuff was ok, but generally Not My Jam.

I liked the little touches in this chapter, like the shout out to other fics in the fandom such as Borie's streaking tendencies and Jersey in general. She makes a great Sergeant at Arms.

I'm clearly missing something important about the Abducted by Carriers scene, isn't the original Kaga already present and accounted for in Valhalla? Were the others that eager for the two to meet? The uproar over her and Yamato seems odd given how the assembly took the lighter ships mostly in stride.
