We have only Washuu's word that she's 20,000 years old, nor does she specify whose years she's using - and frankly, I wouldn't believe anything she told me without some kind of corroborative evidence.

The surviving Mandalorians are also kind of an odd case, since they spent much of the time between the final Mandalorian War and the "modern era" in hypersleep, and there is no definitive reference that can pin down the complete chronology of the Mandalorian civilization for modern historians. They're from a much, much earlier period in galactic history than even the Santovasku and Atlanteans.

(There have, in fact, been two distinct Mandalorian civilizations, one of the First Epoch - ca. BSC 12,000-15,000 - and one very much older, contemporary with the Quintesson occupation of Cybertron. The "prehistoric" Mandalorians may have been the galaxy's first species that modern taxonomists would recognize as human. At this point, that fact isn't known to most 25th-century historians; it's quietly bit-rotting away in some archive on Cybertron, lost amid the chaos of that planet's many wars.)
