I was re-reading S4M3 On the Road Again a bit ago, because I wanted to check something in the scene where Juni-chan inadvertently spies on Anthy and Saionji dueling. In due course, that led me down the file to Juri v. Sunderland, and it suddenly occurred to me that that's what really needed to happen to Amon. It would have been a much more satisfying end to that sorry excuse for a storyline if one of his victims (probably Lin Beifong, but the judges would also have accepted Korra), instead of lying there in misery and defeat, went into that utter atavistic lizard-brain-says-fight! berserk fugue, came up screaming, and just beat him the fuck to death with her bare hands, while Lt. Batroc and his minions all stood around in shock going "Shit, that never happened before."--G. Hard to concentrate on your cheapass bloodbending when someone's breaking all the bones in your torso one at a time, isn't it, champ. -><- Benjamin D. I'd say pummeling somebody into a closed-casket funeral would be a bit out of bounds for Nickelodeon, but from some of the other things I've heard about this series, those bounds seem to be long gone."This is probably a stupid question, but . . ."

Unlike the plotline it's a reaction to, it would be impossible to render deniable to BS&P with metaphor. --G. -><- Benjamin D. You can. Just don't show the beatdown, but instead do a Gilligan cut to a conversation between some freaked-out major cast members while SOCOs in the background are drawing little white circles everywhere. =]--- "She's old, she's lame, she's barren too, // "She's not worth feed or hay, // "But I'll give her this," - he blew smoke at me - // "She was something in her day." -- Garnet Rogers, Small Victory FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards.
