Also, the dynamic where fans ALWAYS go to Spitfire for the autographs, no matter how hard she tried to give Hurry the credit she deserves; and the immense frustration this caused her.

My wife and her best friend have something of this going on for costuming. Her best friend is small and cute and could be wearing a burlap sack while my wife has a 200 hour costume on (and she and it look amazing)...and they'll almost always go to the best friend and say how wonderful she is and hand her a hall costume award.. The best friend tries to deflect this (at least once it was "This isn't a costume!"), but it usually doesn't help. The weird part is it's not guys who do this but other women (whom I believe to be straight).
