Yea, not hard to admit that was pretty awesome. I've been into the Star Wars X-Wing miniatures game recently (no painting!), and playing Imperials almost exclusively, so this was a nice little bit.

Love the glimpses behind the masks on the pilots; the older guy in the interceptor, the young hotshot in a standard TIE. And (of course my favorite, I'm not proud :) the missile-happy lady in the bomber.

Pilots will please note that, despite its portrayal in this may I say repellently blatant piece of Imperial propaganda, the TIE Bomber cannot do anything remotely like that.

Even when piloted by Sarah Inazuma in a cunning disguise.

Oh, sure, it couldn't before she stole it, but after Raul got hold of it? The possibilities are endless. :)

TIE Bomber v2.0, Daggerdisc style? You know as well as I do Gryphon would have done something like that at some point along the way as a mental exercise at the very least just to see if he could.

I think that would end up being less like a mod job, and more like a NASCAR car, where they simply build an entirely different vehicle and then just drop a thin shell on the top that looks vaguely like the thing it's pretending to be.

"This is probably a stupid question, but . . ."

I thought she looked familar. ;)

Mind you, in the sneaking-up-behind-them-through-the-asteroid-field scene, there were a few moments I could've sworn she was rocking along to the soundtrack...

Heh - that was great. Brings back memories of playing TIE Fighter as a kid.

Even if the use of missiles was a little over the top. (And I don't remember Interdictors being able to mess with missile guidance systems like that)

Like I said, blatant Imperial propaganda. I mean, that Interceptor pilot! Do us a favor, Ministry of Information? No TIE pilot lives to be that old.

It makes more sense when you remember that he's actually a temporally-displaced West German porn star from the 1970s. =]

FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards.

Well, that's just a general rule of thumb.
