I mean, she could be signed next week, and I don't wanna be a wet blanket, but baseball players aren't like, say, hot basketball prospects, where they sometimes jump straight from high school to the NBA. Best-case scenario, she'd be pro in four or five years, and probably take another few to reach the majors.
Still, I agree that that's pretty badass, and I hope the above is indeed what we see. And that she plays in the American League, so I might actually see her play sometime. :)
(And she's French! I didn't even know they played baseball in France.)
