Well, Hunters are way stronger than ordinary dudes in hoodies, so... :)

Sadly, in the anime, she is for the most part the former. Not "ugh, why doesn't someone kill her" annoying, but certainly "look, Naka-chan, I have a lot of work to do, can you please do that somewhere else" annoying. :)

But then the Sendai-class ships are kinda my least favorite fleet girls in the TV show. I don't dislike them, but every second they're on screen is a second stolen from DESRON 6 or Mogami. :)

That's a dangerous game. I mean, I'm not very familiar with Tenryū, but you push Kongō too far and she eventually goes Death Star on you, whichever universe she's from. Next thing you know she hasn't just taken Enemy Base MI, that grid sector is permanently unsuitable for humanoid habitation. Scorched-earth tactics don't usually work at sea, so that's doubly terrifying. :)
