I can't decide whether this says "Friday night at the Cobalt Club" or "the Ming Daughters of Republic City took one look at their new customer and thought, Right, the vertical bodyline is where it's at with this one, it's cheongsam o'clock." Possibly both, in the opposite order, since clothing can usually be worn more than once! :)
