This is true. It's also why she has such good handwriting (that, and coming from an age where it was de rigueur for people who could write at all).

It is, but unfortunately it's also the month when the seasonal affective hammer really starts coming down. (Well, and early November, now that the end of DST has been pushed to after Halloween.) There are a whole bunch of reasons why I'd rather live at a more southerly latitude, but unfortunately they don't outweigh the reasons why I don't live at one.
