Practicality doesn't seem to be at the top of the list for Remilia's fanciest outfits in general. That's an intense amount of lace though.

She does pull it off well. I'd love to see Marisa's reaction to it.

That is a nice one. An update and then spin on her traditional outfit, plus buckles because why not.

So did someone introduce her to the bloody card, or is she just about to make a purchase in a very extra manner?

Seems like a semi-formal sort of outfit. Not full wedding/meeting royalty attire, but definitely some extra fancy sprinkled on top.

You'd think she'd be happier about it, but her expression makes it seem like she's there because Marisa lost a bet and somehow she had to pay for it.

There are a lot of fan works in which Marisa and Flandre are pals because of the way the extra stage in EoSD plays out--Flan views their epic boss battle as the most fun play session she ever had, and since Marisa didn't die, that makes her the best play date ever. Sometimes Marisa find that very awkward, but in other interpretations she's down with it, and the resulting relationship is super-cute. (There are echoes of that in her early interactions with G after the Night of a Thousand Daggers.) I like that dynamic enough that I'm slightly sad they've never even met in GG, although I'm sure that day is coming.

Well, closer examination shows that the card is a Joker and seems to be made of metal, so I'm going to guess the former, although in some places it could conceivably be both.

I think she just gets grumpy any time she has to cover up her shoulders. It makes her feel claustrophobic.

Here we have a very pretty Remilia dressed a bit like a Final Fantasy White Mage.Remilia memes her frustrations in Patchy's direction.
Small meets tall, vampire edition.
There's a lot to like about this Remilia, from the tie to the suspenders to the proper hair color. The not entirely loli proportions and predatory facial expression don't hurt either.
Here's Flandre from the same set looking even more predatory.
And on the other end of the spectrum, here's Flandre enjoying a hearty laugh, though some might still consider the amount of fang on display predatory anyway. She's also indulging in some seriously wicked nails and potential frill overdose.
Another Flandre making an irresistible request while seemingly channeling a bit of Clara Valac from Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun!
One last Flandre, this time being playful in maid mode.

Even if it wasn't tagged, the weird hat is a dead giveaway. I'm not sure if her look in that series is a deliberate Final Fantasy reference, but I wouldn't put it past them. :)
>Small meets tall, vampire edition.
Whut th' heck?
>There's a lot to like about this Remilia,
>from the tie to the suspenders to the proper hair color. The not entirely loli proportions and

Yes indeed. That's more or less what my mental image of our version looks like (she's also heavily informed by this artist's version, but just so you're warned, I had to go four pages back in a {character name|artist name} search to find one that was SFW; asutora's Remi and her husband do a very, very great deal of shagging).
>Here's Flandre from the same set looking even more predatory.
Flan's not bad, she's just drawn that way. :)
>And on the other end of the spectrum, here's
>Flandre enjoying a hearty laugh, though some might still consider the amount of fang on display

The nails and the frills share the trait of looking cool but being really impractical, although I could see the former as some sort of numinous-corpus battle mod. Molly Millions fingertip razors, only magical.
>Another Flandre making an irresistible request while seemingly channeling a bit of Clara Valac
>from Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun!
Possibly also Asashimo, although she's usually drawn with the matching bottom teeth showing (since the impression she's meant to give is of a shark). Either way, as you say, an undeniable request.
>One last Flandre, this time
>being playful in maid mode.
I could see her amusing herself by pretending to be a maid while some visitor she doesn't approve of is in the house, for example so as to play the "Oh! I'm so sorry, Monsieur, how clumsy of me" card in such a way that Remilia can't scold her for it without giving the impression that she's rough on the servants. :)

The three on the left are Alcina's "daughters," a trio young women once brought to the castle as slav...er, "servents," then revived through a variant of the earlier dark experiments that turned them into sentient clouds of vampiric flies.

Here we have a somewhat aged up Remilia in a very snug dress and rather nice hat. Extra credit for correct hair color too.Meanwhile this is a more typically aged Remilia in what appears to be a very Summer sort of fancy dress, with a bow in place of a proper hat. Also correct hair color though.
This variation of Remilia decided to suit up, and take up dramatic smoking apparently.
Here is another Remilia wearing a somewhat more modernized variation of what looks like a potential Xmas outfit to me.
Rounding out this post's Remilia section we have a black outfit with parasol, gloves, capelet, and thigh highs that are bound to turn a few heads.
The caption on this leads me to believe that Flandre is simply mugging for the camera in high Halloween spirits, and not, you know, about to beat and/or eat someone. One can hope anyway.
This is a much more subdued Flandre who went so far into fancy she even decorated her wing crystals.
Here is another fancy frilly Flandre, though she seems much happier this time around at least.
Shifting gears a bit, Marisa found a new coat, and either a lot of glitter or a spell to make it look that way. We can hope, for all concerned, that is it the latter.
Lastly, in a two for one shot we have a rather more martial than normal Marisa and Alice, perhaps attending some function where dress uniforms are required. Or they just wanted to make an impression.

I think I'd have made her lace gloves white (they look a little odd being the only thing about the outfit in black), but otherwise it's quite nice.

Patchy would not appreciate that.

I think the outcome depends on whether candy changes hands. It must be admitted that "trick or treat" takes on a certain edge with Flan.
>This is a much more subdued Flandre
>who went so far into fancy she even decorated her wing crystals.
This version looks like she could reach all of them, but I like the image of her drawing up a design and then recruiting someone (maybe Sakuya, maybe Meiling) to spend a while meticulously bending gold wire and doing up the ones that are too close to her back for her to do herself.
>Here is another fancy frilly Flandre, though she seems much happier this time around at least.
That dress is the clothing equivalent of a New England coastline: looks compact, but if flattened out, would actually be hundreds of miles long. :)
>Shifting gears a bit, Marisa
>found a new coat, and either a lot of glitter or a spell to make it [BR>>look that way]. We can hope, for all concerned, that is it the latter. It's a spell--you can tell because it's had the side effect of making her eyes match the color of the "stars". :)

Alice's uniform looks more Gallian than Britannian, but I do endorse the notion that Marisa hasn't worn hers in so long she can't remember how the necktie works and requires assistance. :)
Meanwhile:

It's more often associated with reactions to "sexy" than "cute", but the latter is not unheard-of. (And, of course, things being what they are, some artists' Sakuyas are Like That. No context for this one.)
