I mean, she's always 16, that's part of the deal, but today is the 16th anniversary* of her original release for VOCALOID 2.0, which means her actual age now happens to match the kayfabe for a few months. :)--G. * IRL; we moved it a few years for UF purposes in The Vocaloid Variations -><- Benjamin D. I find myself amused by the mental image that, at some point in the centuries since she was first brought into existence, the UF version of Miku has responded to a fan or an interviewer trying to do the mental math on her "actual" age with the "eternally 16" line. Followed shortly by Rin or Luka facepalming and muttering "She actually said it."

As the HHI member whose relationship with her own Virtual Age has historically been the most fraught, Rin has always found Miku's ability to just not worry about it equal parts enviable and frustrating. I mean, the "DOB" line on Rin's driver's license literally says "IT'S COMPLICATED". Not even the Department of Motor Vehicles is entirely sure how she did that. --G. -><- Benjamin D. There's a line popping up in my memory (but unfortunately/frustratingly, Google isn't turning up any results) regarding... Noriko, I think, though it could also apply to Kara:"It's a long story that uses the words 'time dilation' a lot."

Edison sighed, looking uncharacteristically defeated. "There's sod-all you can do, I'm afraid. The shock is likely to get only worse, as her mind attempts to readjust itself from the age of thirteen to ... six hundred and change, according to this?" He looked somewhat surprised. "Hang about, that would make her some two centuries old _before_ taking Omega-2." Martin looked away. "It's a long story that uses the words 'time dilation' a lot."

That's the one. Looks like the line break spoils it.
