There's a backup story ("The Revenge of Bishop Greeyn") in the recent Ninja High School issue 162, in which a Salusian describes the origin of a traditional weapon known as a shurka.

The shurka was first used by Queen Budakai in the Great War of Liberation. She fashioned the first shurka and used it to fight Emperor Zardonia the First in a battle that lasted 400 days. She finally bested him, and she and our people were granted freedom from the Zardonian yoke.

This guy must have had a perfect non-attendance record in history class. He needs to watch Cheltaria a few times... :)

Once again, UF improves on the "original"...and this time, UF was actually there first.
