Yes, I understand where you are coming from. the backstory being
interspliced like that was fun to read instead of the usual
"we know where we are going but have to slog through the parts
everybody else knows before we can get there." type of backstory.

on a related note about the backstory, even though Ben Stark
was inserted into the picture when the iron man suit
was made, to change things to fit the story... and provide the
backstory on what happened to Tony Stark and why he isn't the Iron Man

I must I literally felt quite sad to see Tony go like that, it was quite the tragedy of war :S
