It was a good read; the story definitely has some heft to it, literarily (is that even a word?) speaking. And as others have said, very well-paced.

That the Iron Man suit was essentially kit-bashed was a little surprising. I mean, I knew what the original Iron Man looked like (basically an anthropomorphic cast-iron stove), but the mental image I got from its first appearance in TIA #1 wasn't so rough-hewn as it was described in #2. It'll be fun to see the process by which the suit gets refined in later issues.

Also, my favorite piece of dialogue:
MegaZone: "I'm going to lock you into a delta state for 48 hours"
Ben Stark: "That's what my last girlfriend in college told me."

Had me in stitches.
