#0, TIA 1–3 HD remaster coming soon

Not even soon™, I've already got the first pass done on 1, which means the style sheet customizations are ironed out and the others should go quicker. Styling the Stark Wire entries has been the biggest pain. Project undertaken because someone emailed and asked nicely. You know who you are. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. LAST EDITED ON Sep-09-24 AT 02:31 AM (EDT) Issue #1: Meet Interesting Singles in Your AreaThe conversions of 2 and 3 are also finished, and will be posted here (along with updating the links on the TIA series page) once I've given them an extra looking-over. As always, this is a sort of perpetually experimental process with a lot of moving parts, so I've probably missed a few details here and there. If you notice anything out of place, let me know. Also: have I never done annotations for the first three? Hm. Maybe I should look into that as well... --G. -><- Benjamin D. >'Ogopogo: You're on notice' still cracks me up every time. Ha, I just noticed something else about that StarkWire post. I wrote this story way back in 2006, and I'm pretty sure I just threw some arbitrary Japanese syllables together for most of the fictional place names... ... and I somehow managed to randomly name the highway where this battle happened the Takamori Bypass. :) --G. I assume it's not too far from the corner of Amesame Boulevard and Kronmei Street. -><- Benjamin D. I managed to find a typo that I somehow missed the way too many times I’ve read this before: In TIA1: “He cross the room without looking at Priss and left.” should be “He crossed the…” -------------- Lime2K The One True Evil Overlord

This is a longstanding problem with all Eyrie fic released as HTML, but now seems like a good time to bring it up:On my phone, and probably in any other situation where the page is narrow compared to the minimum text size, the fic looks like this:
It is not pleasant to read this way. As the guy who sent you the CSS you used as a basis for the HTML conversion of Weapon of Choice way back when, I feel partially responsible for this and would be willing to tinker with the style sheet and figure out how to make it more phone friendly, if that would be helpful to you.

If you can figure out some way of doing so that doesn't mess with how it looks on computer displays (recall that the reason it does that is because of the styling that keeps the text from sprawling all across wide browser windows), I'd be willing to consider it, though my heart withers within me at the thought of retrofitting all those files. --G. * I've just had a long-ass day is all, no worries -><- Benjamin D. OK, I'll have a look at it this weekend and follow up by email. I can also look into automation for retrofitting files, or at least factoring out the style sheet to a separate file that can be updated independently. >* I've just had a long-ass day is all, no worries I am sorry to hear that and hope the rest of the week goes better.

Thanks for doing that legwork for me. I have so far applied the change to only eight of the dozens of affected files (the four issues of TIA and the currently extant eps of The Vocaloid Variations), but I'll plug away at it over the next however long. --G. -><- Benjamin D.
