Depends on the context. It's... not something I've found myself having to deal with myself.

(I mean, G was a perfect gentleman in 1943, but it's not as if he was UNAWARE of his surroundings. It's just that he can control himself, because he's not a damn troglodyte. It is, for example, neither Gertrud Barknorn's fault nor her problem that her uniform is one of the sexiest outfits ever devised, nor that she wears it perfectly, and unlike some, G is able to comport himself accordingly. Zero sympathy for the "men can't help themselves" crowd.)

I'm not sure I have understood your question fully and/or responded to it fully, but I'm afraid that's the best I can manage right now - I shouldn't even really be awake at the moment, much less posting, but you know how it goes. :)
