I just realized, this says something about the laws for window tinting in the United Republic, or at least Sakuragaoka. I'm pretty sure that in Washington state, having a driver's side window tint that blocks the view of the driver is illegal.

Then again, maybe it just says something about the Kotobuki Group's ability to push for a temporary exception.
