Couple of things I missed out noting:

1) As in The Pros from Dover, Marisa's incantation leading up to Master Spark is, of course, based on the Golden Age Green Lantern's recharge oath, modified to suit the situation. She can vary the wording a bit, because it's not strictly part of the spell. As with her broom, she does it more for style.

2) Alice puts on glasses to read the Emperor's dispatch to Reimu not because her eyesight is going bad, but because she can't read Fusōnese. Aramaic, yes. Ancient Atlantean, yes. Scots Seilig, yes. Sindarin and Quenya, yes. Fusō-go... not so much. :)
