What? That's what I just said - oh, I see. No, which indeed the Admiral does - make the expected assumption.

He did, yes. Late-FI G looks older than mid-Exile G, although that's coincidental. His time with the Morita Navy was, after all, decades ago to him, centuries in the future from Sugita's perspective, and happened/will happen in a parallel universe, so what he actually looked like at the time is not pertinent to Sugita's calculations. He's only basing it on, This guy looks to be in his early thirties, so by "a long time ago" he must mean when he was around 18. Ha, kids these days. :)

That being said, yes, if G had a copy of Peter Moreau's official Navy photo on him and hauled it out in that scene, it would back up his claim, because he did look 10-12 years younger then than he does "now".
