Nobody's seen a Roman legion in a while either, but that hasn't stopped these guys.

Besides, the weirding way was historically more famous as a Fremen thing, and the Fremen are thought by many martial historians to have eventually evolved into the early Jedi, so who knows? It was 12,000 years ago, which makes it much harder to trace the offshoots and evolutionary pathways than, say, that whole shaolin kung fu/shorinji kempo/whatever it is that those modern-day special forces/mall knife store dudes who insist they're ninja do thing.

Anyway, jhosmer1 has a point. When it comes to martial arts, UF's Jackie Chan is roughly the equivalent of Tony Stark in a cave with a box of scraps*. :)
