Oh, I think this is perfectly possible--not in real time, but in a buffer state, like a print job patiently waiting for the laptop to be reconnected to the LAN with the printer on it. Soon as he gets back Skuld gets something that makes her laugh out loud and REALLY want to find out what in Midgard happened.
