Actually, it's likely that at this point there will be cause for some ha-ha-only-serious mourning in the SA11 break room, much as there was among the Valkyrie when the Corwin Bowl closed. I mean, the man is forsaking the path of kings as far as certain members of the GFC are concerned. I can already see, for instance, Bea Watanabe being incredulous. "Who does that? I mean, him, obviously, but what the hell?"

Well, look at it this way. Any fool suicidal enough can probably, with enough looking, find a couple of vampire floozies to have a one-off three-way with. Hell, there are probably neighborhoods in a few of the galaxy's choicer megalopoleis where someone with a vizorium MasterCard and very little sense of self-preservation can arrange such a thing in an hour or two, and if one survives, it'll only be to feel dirty. The cozy, homey, nothing-happens-except-a-lot-of-warm-fuzzy-feelings kind that leads to contented breakfast-time banter? That's a lasting accomplishment of the noblest kind. An investment in a future of which one can be proud. :)
