Sure it is! Here's Remilia ready to take Avalon Centre by storm.

(By comparison, Flan doesn't really have the contemporary look down yet, but as Philip notes, gothic Lolita is always in fashion. :)

It's worth noting that, in what passes for Touhou canon, neither the Scarlet sisters nor their actual house are native to the pocket-universe fantasyland where the games are set. It got there somehow, although as far as I know, how is not specified.

Indeed! Mind you, Meiling and Sakuya have seen weirder, but owing to the peculiar circumstances of their lives to date, the Scarlets (especially Flandre) have led very sheltered lives in spite of how long they've lived. I mean, not only are they coming from someplace where it's 1946, even there they've essentially been living in a paused version of an even earlier time. At which point, hey, in for a penny...

I'm looking forward to all that, but I concede that it is a long way off.
