Nikola Tesla struggled against ignorance and prejudice all of his life, battling a titan like Thomas Edison in the court of public opinion for the honor of alternating current, and you say he wasn't a warrior?

By the UF definition, one doesn't have to have lived (and died) by the sword to be honored as a warrior. One merely has to have fought the good fight in some capacity. It's a metaphor rather than the literal truth.

Indeed, those who have lived unobjectionable lives but not done much of anything with themselves do go to Hel. Actually, everyone who doesn't go to Valhalla goes to Hel, and those who deserve worse are sorted and sent on from there.

Despite its name, Hel's not such a bad place. It's a bit like living in Minneapolis - not heaven, gets a little chilly in the winter, but it doesn't suck.

As for the confusion over the name, that's all in the second edition of So You're Dead.
