I actually wrote an article about continuity & retcons for an online fanzine called Fanzing many MANY moons ago, covering (among other things) the fact that there are different degrees of retcon, from adding "Untold Tales" to throwing out the past completely.

What's happening at the Two (they aren't big to me, anymore) is less enhanced storytelling, and more scorched earth. :P
