Fictional, not based on any one real band, though in my head they sound a lot like Bad Religion with a dash of the Donnas. They do fast-paced, defiant songs with weirdly intellectual lyrics, mainly about screwing up, getting screwed over, and trying to un-screw-up without ending up totally screwed.

Their original novelty-act draw was that three of the band's four members has been a patient of the old Arkham or its replacement - Harley, Ivy, and drummer Roxy Sutton. Turns out they're actually pretty good, though, and the common thread that runs through many of their songs (as Big Country once put it, "pull up your head off the floor and come up screaming") touches a chord with a lot of people in the East End. They'll probably never hit the big time and they don't really want to, but they're a force on the local club scene, and their audiences tend to be eerily well-behaved for East End nightclub crowds. If the creative sequence had worked out differently, they'd probably have been shown opening for the Art of Noise at the Art's New Gotham encore show in Second Chances. Their shows are the only place in the UF universe where you're likely to see Harley sporting that corset-and-hotpants ensemble they've got her wearing in Suicide Squad these days.

Does it even need to be said at this point that Bruce didn't approve of Lena joining this band? :)
