--I went into the Forgetful Valley.
--Next thing I know, I'm someplace unfamiliar, and then somebody apparently drugs me, because
--I wake up confined in a building (a "spaceship?" What's that?) with unsavory criminal types.
--I then have to _deal_ with these unsavory types, who end up shooting me, and
--I wake up again, blind and helpless, among _other_ strange (though possibly not as unsavory) people.

Note that nowhere in this sequence does anyone hand her a copy of "So You've Just Arrived from a Parallel Dimension." :) Everything that's happened is quite consistent with an elaborate--yet perfectly Diqiu-baseline mundane--kidnapping attempt.
