Ok, yes, my terminology could've used some cleaning up.

However, it was always my impression that for some reason fold calculations were fantastically complex and required substantial - by overtech standards! - computing resources to complete successfully, and that while the bombsight is a -marvel- of analog computing it's still just doing ballistics calcs.

But then I got to thinking about how to make it work and remembered we have an overtech...well, PDA, I guess, and a time machine (The World) so theoretically if we took Gryphon's omnitool, The World, and the portable reflex furnace as mentioned, using The World to extend the time available to make the calculations...well, maybe it'd work?
